Long-term gaming focus and M&A led growth track record

  • 2021

    • SAZKA Group increased its shareholding in CASAG to 59.7%
    • SAZKA Entertainment AG, a 100% owned subsidiary of KKCG, became the sole shareholder of SAZKA Group
    • Funds advised by Apollo Global Management Inc. closed a €500 milion strategic investment in SAZKA Entertainment AG
    • SAZKA Group increased its shareholding in OPAP to 45.36% and economic interest to 38.33% (as at 30 June)
  • 2020

    • SAZKA Group increased its shareholding in CASAG to 55.5%
  • 2019

    • KKCG becme the sole owner of SAZKA Group, acquiring EMMA Capital's interest. EMMA Capital retained the SuperSport business
    • SAZKA Group acquired an additional 7.25% shareholding in OPAP
  • 2018

    • SAZKA Group completed the acquisition of an additional shareholding in CASAG
    • SAZKA Group acquired a 67% shareholding in SuperSport
    • SAZKA Group increased its shareholding in CASAG to 38%
  • 2017

    • SAZKA Group entered into binding agreements on the acquisition of further shares in CASAG to increase its indirect stake to 34%
  • 2016

    • SAZKA Group acquired a 32.5% stake in LOTTOITALIA by establishing a joint venture with incumbent operator Lottomatica
    • KKCG and EMMA Capital merged their lottery and gaming assets into SAZKA Group
    • LOTTOITALIA was awarded the Lotto concession for 9 years
    • SAZKA Group acquired an 11.6% stake in Austrian Lotteries
  • 2015

    • KKCG and EMMA Capital jointly acquired a 11.3% shareholding in CASAG, Austria’s largest gaming and lottery company
  • 2013

    • EMMA Capital completed its acquisition of a controlling 33% shareholding in OPAP, Greece's largest lottery and gaming company, from the Greek state

  • 2012

    • KKCG became the sole owner of SAZKA a.s.
  • 2011

    • KKCG became the co-owner of SAZKA a.s., the incumbent Czech lottery operator
